Shipton Spire Basecamp.
From Skardu we drove by Jeep's to Askole village, from there we had three long days of strenuous hiking to our basecamp. We had four tents at basecamp. One kitchen tent, one dinner tent, one tent for our chef & his assistant and one tent for us. The place was perfect for a basecamp, flat and grassy with a small creek.
